we are romantic and stuff

My husband & I are so romantic it's unbelievable. 

It's like we live in a Nicholas Sparks book. Minus the part where someone dies at the end. Always.

The other day, we had "us" time. Rather than get it on like a normal couple, we turned on Netflix and watched documentaries about serial killers, Russian prisons, and cannibals. (Because that's what people DO!! Sherlock fans out there? No? I'm just a freak. I'm over it. Disregard my reference.)

But really. After a while we realized how not-normal it is for us to spend our togetherness time watching morbid things. So chances are it'll probably happen again. 

We're romantic.

Also, speaking of Sherlock... nerd alert... I'd like you all to know that I make geek references on the daily, and my husband STILL loves me. A couple examples from the other day:

(whilst cuddling in bed)

Me: This is like when Katniss and Peeta cuddled in the cave.
Husband: Get out.

(after finding a lost object)

Husband: What you need are my tracking skills.

Me: I should call you Strider. 

but really, guys. he could track hobbits like nobody's business.
